Gina Bourasa - Founder & CEO

Gina Bourasa has lived in the Treasure Valley for the past 43 years working in the real estate and construction industry the majority of that time. Gina has always been passionate about making a difference in her community and giving back. Being a cancer survivor, Gina realizes how short life is and the importance of making every day count. She stepped into the role of leading the organization in 2019. In 2021, with the full support of her board of directors Gina had the honor of being able to carry on Millard Fuller's legacy, by founding the Building Hope Project. Gina is passionate about solving the affordable housing crisis and is determined to be an advocate and make a difference for those so desperately in need of a safe and affordable place to call home. She believes that stronger families build stronger communities and is determined to make a difference and to build HOPE in peoples lives…one family at a time. She also serves as a Board Member for the Americus-Sumter Fuller Center for Housing chapter in Americus, Georgia.

Chris Harris - Board Chairman & Chairman Construction Committee

Chris is a Finish Specialist with Franklin Building Supply in the Treasure Valley. He has 30 years with his current employer, working alongside many of the best building material providers in the Northwest. He currently specializes in providing finishing materials of residential homes which include most building components after the structure is complete. Chris's construction knowledge brings a wealth of experience to the Board and as Co-Chair of the Construction Committee. An Idaho and Canyon County native, Chris is passionate about giving back to the community he’s lived in for more than 50 years. He holds close to his heart the mission of the Building Hope Project, which is putting God's love into action and bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope

Matt Schoener - First Vice Chairman

Matt is a Washington state native but fell in love with Idaho when he moved here 17 years ago.  His life is firmly centered around his beautiful wife, Nichole and (2) wild boys, Benson & Everett.

Matt has served the Treasure Valley over the last 6 years as a Realtor building lifelong relationships with his clients.  He spent the previous 13 years in the construction and building materials industries, so you can say that he has a special place in his heart for helping people experience the joys of homeownership. 

Matt feels a responsibility to give back to the community that he serves and hopes to set an example for his two young boys that giving is a part of his family's fiber.  He has worked closely with many organizations in the valley to provide affordable housing to the treasure valley and hopes to leave a legacy that is felt for years to come.  Matt has partnered with The Building Hope Project in hopes that together our impact can spread further and help more people. 

Colby Lampman - Second Vice Chairman

Colby James Lampman was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho. Colby is the second generation Designated Broker and President of local independent real estate brokerage, Homes of Idaho, Inc. Colby's mother, Debbie started her career in real estate in 1975 and founded her first brokerage in 1990. Colby now runs the family brokerage alongside his wife, Kassy Lampman just as his parents have done successfully for the past several decades. Homes of Idaho is a testimony of sacrifice and service.

Together, Colby & Kassy are fully determined to continue that legacy into a new generation, adapting and evolving to remain a local industry leader, while continuing to help families achieve the American dream. Colby believes in achieving business excellence through honesty and integrity. Colby measures success in business based upon Homes of Idaho's level of service and contribution to their agents, staff and clients, and most importantly the communities they serve. Colby & Kassy enjoy travelling, movies and raising their three children.

Kristi Santy - CFO & Board Secretary

Kristi has lived, worked and raised her family in the Treasure Valley for the past 35 years. She started in the Construction industry over 20 years ago and worked as a Project Estimator most of that time. Kristi has always been passionate about volunteering and giving back. Assisting at animal shelters is something that is very rewarding to her.

Kristi believes that being able to give a hand up to those who cannot easily advocate for themselves is so very important.  Inspiring, giving back and building hope in our community is something that is very close to her heart. She enjoys spending time with Seniors and feels that generational wisdom is something that just cannot be beat.  In this day and age, the affordable housing crisis is such an important mission, and Kristi is determined to be part of the solution. She believes everyone deserves to have the opportunity to own their own home. Kristi knows she is blessed to not only own her own home, share it with her 14-year-old son, but best of all be able to work from that very home every day now. Kristi is so thankful for the opportunity to be involved with the Building Hope family and is dedicated to help bring people in the community together…one project at a time.

Kassy Lampman - Chairman Fund Development

Kassy Lampman and her family relocated to Treasure Valley, Idaho from Montana in 1996. In 2008, Kassy was in search of buying her first home and ended up meeting her future husband, Colby Lampman. Kassy and Colby reside in Canyon County with their three children. A small-business owner from a young age, Kassy obtained her real estate license in 2016 to join her husband with their family brokerage, Homes of Idaho. The Lampman's have been ingrained in real estate in the Treasure Valley since 1978 and are Idaho natives. Helping first time home buyers has become her passion, as she understands the reward that home ownership brings, after purchasing her first home at the young age of 20! Kassy enjoys spending quality time with family, being involved in her church, watching movies and sneaking away to anywhere with white sand and beaches! She is honored with the opportunity to join the Building Hope Project in an effort to serve her community even more!

Paul Weaver - Co-Chairman Construction

After graduating from High School in 2007, Paul Weaver joined his dad in the construction field, a career that challenges him and makes him the happiest. In 2017, Paul and his family moved to the Treasure Valley to enjoy not only a slower pace of living but also the beautiful country views Idaho has to offer.  

Paul obtained a Real Estate license in 2011 and after obtaining a Broker’s license in 2018, he has been an Associate Broker at Homes of Idaho in Nampa working alongside Colby and Kassy Lampman. Although he loves meeting new people and helping families find their forever homes, his true passion lies within helping people by breathing new life into their residences and rising to the challenges that construction brings.  He started his own construction company in 2018 and has dived headfirst into the joys of owning his own business.  He believes he was blessed with the gift of working with his hands and wants to pay it forward and help those who are less fortunate.  He and his wife prayed for God to place them within a nonprofit organization that shared the same vision as them.  Paul believes by joining forces with The Building Hope Project, he and his wife can be good stewards of the Lord and a blessing to others in the community.

Wade Gayler - Co-Chairman Church Relations / Home Selection

Wade Gayler has had a servant's heart for many years. He has made his life about being part of the solution to those in need. He served as the Senior Disaster Program Manager for the Idaho/Montana region of the American Red Cross.  He managed Red Cross disaster response teams for Hurricane Sandy, the Oso Washington Mudslides, Floods in Louisiana and Wildfires in Colorado and Idaho.  Wade led long-term recovery programs to restore communities by fostering cross-agency coordination and collaboration and securing financial donations and volunteer labor commitments to rebuild homes destroyed by natural disasters.  He has been a critical leader for the Idaho Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) for over eleven years. 

Before the Red Cross, Wade served as the Director of Disaster Relief for the Utah/Idaho, Southern Baptist Convention for nine years, where he managed over 700 volunteers, 34 mobile units and led teams in over 50 disasters in the U.S. and around the world which included Hurricane Katrina, American Samoa Tsunami, and the Haiti Earthquake.  Wade’s experience, dedication and passion to help rebuild lives is something that will be a great blessing to the mission at The Building Hope Project.  “I am excited to serve God through the Fuller Center for Housing and allow Him to use me in the Building Hope Project,” he states.

Del Besendorfer - Board Member

A native Idahoan and business owner, Del brings a long list of leadership positions that add to his expertise and knowledge of both corporation and board procedures. Del served as Board Chairman for eight years and helped grow the organization to where it is today. He left his home in Idaho twice for a period of time, once to work on humanitarian projects in Brazil and then to serve as the Senior Vice President for Liko Incorporated. For the past 10 years he has owned his own company and has been a licensed electrical contractor for the state of Idaho. Del is a firm believer in giving back whenever possible. He previously served on the Board for the Boy Scout Council of America and has been a board member for Canyon County Habitat for Humanity since 2017. Del believes that every individual DESERVES the absolute basics of life. It is his hope and prayer that the Building Hope Project will continue to expand and be able to service many more communities and neighborhoods that so desperately need affordable housing.

Randy Friedley - Co-Chairman Fund Development

Randy was born and raised in Idaho and graduated from BSU. He has been with UNIVAR Solutions for the past 30 years on the Global Food Ingredient Team. He has been married to his wife Aundrea for 23 years and they have 3 children. They are a 20 per day family that doesn’t sleep much. They work hard so they can play hard. They love traveling around the globe as a family.

Randy’s zest for life spills over to everything he touches. He is passionate about making old things new again, as he loves to restore and show cars and motorcycles. Randy also serves on the Board of Directors for Christian Faith Center and believes in being an integral part of his community and making a difference in the lives of other families. Randy is excited to Co-Chair the Fund Development Committee and to help raise money to further the mission of The Building Hope Project. 

Katie Weaver - Construction Committee

Katie Weaver moved to the Treasure Valley with her husband in 2017. She met her husband Paul in 2002 and they have been high school sweethearts ever since that day. During their time together,0 they have had many businesses throughout the years, but have found success in their Construction Company that they started in 2018. Katie graduated High School in 2008 and immediately went to work for her family’s church afterwards. She worked as the Pastor’s secretary for 15 years; during that time, she served in the Church, participated in board meetings, sang on the worship team, and even ran the church bookstore.  Katie has always been involved in helping the community, whether it be at charity events, feeding and providing essentials to the less fortunate, volunteering at local high schools and other odd jobs that came up while she worked at the church. She was employed full time for many years at a large financial institution before leaving to help her husband run their business full time. Katie finds great joy in helping others and cannot wait to be able to help Build Hope Project grow and be able to lend a helping hand in the community and wherever God leads them.
