Our Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Everyone deserves a decent place to live. Our hope is to have a ministry where we work alongside with our partners, volunteers and homeowners to build a community where families can thrive. Canyon County Habitat for Humanity does not give homes away but instead partners with homeowners of low to moderate income seeking safe, affordable homes to purchase in Canyon, Gem, and Owyhee Counties. Our homeowners agree to provide 500 hours of sweat equity on their future homes.

Habitat for Humanity is a global brand providing housing for over 1,000,000 families worldwide. Here in the United States, Habitat is the 15th largest residential builder with a focus on maximizing energy efficiency through green building and the LEED Certification program.

Canyon County Habitat will do whatever we can to offer a hand up by providing a secure, safe, and affordable housing option. We need our communities support as volunteers, donors, and advocates.

Your partnership means the world to us!

Let’s build our community together! A safe place all can call home!

Thank you for your generosity,
Judy Ahrens, Executive Director/CEO
