Together We Can Do Great Things

Discover the mission of Canyon County Habitat for Humanity

When Linda and Millard Fuller started Habitat for Humanity back in 1976, they probably didn't anticipate the eventual scope of the operation. For nearly half a century, the organization has spread far and wide and evolved to address the needs of communities around the world. Canyon County Habitat for Humanity is the chapter serving Nampa, Idaho and surrounding areas.

Our nonprofit organization helps families build and improve places that they can call home. As an organization, we believe that a good home is the foundation for a good life and a strong community.

Why should you give back to your community?

The grand opening of Canyon County Habitat for Humanity is slated for August 23rd, 2019. We invite you to join us for our big opening day. Habitat volunteers and staff are dedicated to giving back to our community.

You should consider joining us for our grand opening and volunteering for home builds and more because:

  • The need for affordable housing is growing, and we need more helping hands than ever before.
  • Quality affordable housing for families who are less fortunate strengthens the community and increases stability in the family.
  • You'll be joining a worldwide network of individuals who have the same passion for giving back that you do.
