Keeping with Idaho’s grassroots principles, we recognize the needs of our communities are diverse and changing — so a large, overseeing bureaucracy isn’t needed. We are committed to promoting collaborative and innovative partnerships with individuals and organizations in an unrelenting quest to provide adequate shelter for all people.

Our Mission

The Building Hope Project is a faith-driven, grass-roots nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places that they can call home. As an organization, we believe that a good home and affordable housing is the foundation for a better life. Strong and stable homes help build strong and stable communities.

Families who partner with the Building Hope Project are extremely grateful for your help. A decent home gives them the strength, stability, and independence they need to create a better life for themselves and their families.

Our homeowners receive financial education, help build their own houses and pay an affordable mortgage. When they partner with us, they start down a new path - one with far fewer barriers to a better, healthier, more financially stable life.
